The Habitat for Humanity ReStore will sell new and gently used home and office furnishings, appliances, books, cabinetry, hardware, lumber, flooring, lighting and much more. All ReStore merchandise is generously donated by individuals and businesses, and it is sold at 50 to 90 percent below retail value. For several months, the ReStore has been collecting donations to fully stock the new space for the grand opening event. After several successful years in the Purcellville area, Loudoun Habitat made the decision to move the ReStore to a central Loudoun location to better reach the entire county. A ribbon cutting for the new store will be held at the grand opening event on Saturday. “We’ve been working hard over the past several months to make this new ReStore location a reality for Loudoun County,” said James Bailey, acting Executive Director for Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. With the help of many generous donors, volunteers, and our dedicated staff, we are thrilled to open the doors on this new store. The sales from the ReStore provides an additional viable method of funding Habitat’s work here in Loudoun County, and this will lead to a greater number of homes built and rehabbed each year.” The grand opening event will include a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and a full day of football related activities including food, music, games, and drawings throughout the day. It is after all Super Bowl weekend! -more- ReStore Grand Opening Page 2 After the grand opening, the ReStore’s regular business hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the ReStore during business hours and pickups will be available by appointment.
