As required by the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law,the Conservation Commission is informing the
public that this meeting will be audio and video recorded. Anyone else intending to record is required to
inform the Chairman prior to the meeting.
Public Hearings
The following applicants request Determinations of Conservation Commission jurisdiction:
Dean Smjeltzer requests determinations as to whether the area, boundaries of resource area(s)and work-
upgrade of cesspools to a Title 5 sewage system - depicted on the submitted plan are subject to the WPA and WP
By-law,on 53 Sheep Pond Circle,Assessors' Map 73 (formerly 41) Parcel 11 (formerly 71).
Elizabeth McCullough requests determinations as to whether the area, boundaries of resource area(s)and work-
upgrade of cesspools to a Title 5 sewage system -depicted on the submitted plan,are subject to the WPA and
WP By-law,on 1179 Stony Brook Road, Assessors' Map 47(formerly 23) Parcel 3 (formerly 39).
The following applicants filed Notices of Intent:
(Continued Hearing)James and Paula Lieb propose to replace existing "fiber roll"erosion control protection on a
coastal dune with an engineering technique consisting of"coir(sand filled), anchored envelopes", and extend
same onto abutting 0 Breakwater Town Landing; and,to replace an existing sand drift fence on both properties
with an alternative structure, to plant American beach grass, and maintain all routinely. Properties are on 268
and 0 Breakwater Road (Breakwater Town Landing),Assessors' Maps 58, Parcel 36 (formerly 4/15), and
Assessors' Map 58 Parcel 37-0(formerly 4/55).

access to the waterfront, at Linnell Town Landing,Assessors' Map 103, Parcel 14(formerly 9/1-1).

Kevin NOrton proposes (after-the-fact)to re-construct an existing coastal engineering structure on a coastal
bank, on 20 Swift Lane, Assessors' Map 69, Parcel 98(formerly 6/5)
John F. and Christine M. O'Riordan propose to upgrade an existing septic system within 100 feet of a bordering
vegetated wetland,on 566 Lower Road, Assessors' Map 49, Parcel 136 (formerly 18/22-1).
Donald C.Arthur, Donald C. Arthur Living Trust proposes to reconstruct a permanent timber pier using fiberglass
"monopole" pilings,and plant native plants; project is to occur in and within 50 feet of inland resource areas, on
1554 Main Street, Assessors' Map 48, (formerly 24), Parcel 81 (formerly 24-1).
