HomeMy Public PortalAbout15623 St. Simon Ct. 10023 Storm Channel (GCMB-250) (10266)ORDINANCE NO. 15623 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in St. Simon Ct. #10023 Storm Channel (GCMB-250) (10266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22004 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc. for storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Seventy-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Dollars ($79,380.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Dollars ($30,620.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for storm sewer construction in St. Simon Ct. #10023 Storm Channel (GCMB-250) (10266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22004 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in St. Simon Ct. #10023 Storm Channel (GCMB-250) (10266) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of January, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 11, 2021.
