AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Shands, Elbert,
Gianoulakis & Giljum, LLP, whereby they will provide legal consulting services on matters
involving Stormwater and Wastewater Rate consulting and associated regulations and policies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis & Giljum, LLP, whereby they will provide legal consulting services
on matters involving Stormwater and Wastewater Rate consulting and associated regulations and
policies.
Section Two. The contract will be a one (1) year contract with three (3) one-year
renewal options, at the sole discretion of the District.
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel
of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 11, 2021.
