Home My Public Portal About15615 Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public II Reduction (2021) Contract A (12508)ORDINANCE NO. 15615 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2021) Contract A (12508) in the Cities of Ballwin, Des Peres, Ellisville, and Kirkwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21982 with SAK Construction, LLC for sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Nine Thousand One Hundred Forty-Three Dollars ($2,989,143.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars ($110,857.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2021) Contract A (12508) in the Cities of Ballwin, Des Peres, Ellisville, and Kirkwood, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into 21982 with SAK Construction, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Bissell – Coldwater – Missouri – Meramec Public I/I Reduction (2021) Contract A (12508) in the Cities of Ballwin, Des Peres, Ellisville, and Kirkwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of January, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 11, 2021.
