HomeMy Public PortalAbout15619 Maline Creek CSO BP 051 052 Local Storage Facility (Rain Garden) (12762)ORDINANCE NO. 15619 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for green infrastructure construction in Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Rain Garden) (12762) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21993 with DJM Ecological Services, Inc. for green infrastructure construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said green infrastructure construction is Forty-Four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-Three Dollars ($44,653.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars ($15,347.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for green infrastructure construction in Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Rain Garden) (12762) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. Contract No. 21993 with DJM Ecological Services, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for green infrastructure construction in Maline Creek CSO BP 051 & 052 Local Storage Facility (Rain Garden) (12762) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of January, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 11, 2021.
