Home My Public Portal AboutRES-CC-1997-04RESOLUTION 04-97 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MOAB CITY FULL-TIME POSITION CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM, HOURLY PAY RATE SCHEDULE, AND JOB DESCRIPTIONS. WHEREAS, Moab City Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual sections 3.4 and 3.5 require the City to develop a uniform and equitable pay plan linked to classes of positions in the classification plan; and WHEREAS, the Moab City Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual allows that pay ranges may be adjusted periodically on the basis of annual surveys of salaries paid for comparable work in other municipalities within the State of Utah; and WHEREAS, Moab City's current position classification system,. hourly Pay Rate Schedule and Job Descriptions do not accurately reflect the current status of full-time positions within the Moab City Organization; and WHEREAS, the proposed "Moab City Full-time Position Classification," the "Moab City Hourly Pay Rates," and job descriptions for each full-time position are attached to this resolution as Attachments A, B. and C, respectively; NOW, THEREFORE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB HEREBY RESOLVES TO ADOPT the Moab City Full-time Position Classification, Moab City Hourly Pay Rates and job descriptions as referred hereto, effective beginning with the regular employee pay period ending April 13, 1997.
