Leesburg, VA (February 27, 2014) – On Friday, March 7, 2014,
Town of Leesburg officials will celebrate the grand opening of
Loudoun Pilates Studio with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Loudoun
Pilates Studio is located in The Mansion at Waverly Park (604

officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00pm.
Loudoun Pilates Studio is dedicated to utlitizing the Pilates
method of teaching movement and breath as tools to strengthen
and heal the body. Pilates can be a great foundational exercise
regimen to reduce chronic joint pain, assist in injury prevention and rehabilitation, increase
core strength, improve balance and flexibility, and correct improper movement patterns.
“I am thrilled to be back in Leesburg from Colorado. I was very inspired by the breadth and
depth of Pilates offerings in the Denver area and in and around Washington, DC area,” said
owner Amy Hershey. “I am hoping to bring that culture – in which clients and teachers alike
come together to learn and to build an interactive community of Pilates and healthy movement
– to Loudoun County. I am excited to offer classes on all levels and on every type of Pilates
equipment, so everyone in Loudoun can find the right program for them.”
Hershey is a graduate of The Pilates Center’s 950-hour Advanced Teacher Training Program in
Boulder, Colorado. She also serves as a Host Advisor for The Pilates Center Teacher Training
Program, mentoring aspiring teachers as they complete their training programs.
The spacious new Loudoun Pilates Studio is fully outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment and
will offer a comprehensive range of classes. Every instructor at Loudoun Pilates Studio is a
certified Pilates instructor, having completed a minimum of 700 hours of comprehensive Pilates
training. In addition, the studio will offer Vinyasa yoga classes. For more information, please
