RESOLUTION NO. 2014-071
A -RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADJUSTMENT OF FEES ASSOCIATED
WITH TIFFIN ELEMENTARY'AND A CCA SIDEWALK INSTALLATION
WITH CCA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Whereas, The City is knowledgeable that the CCA School district passed a;school bond
that includes a new elementary school to be built in the Tiffin city limits on Park Road
with an opening date of AuguSt.2015 and,
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it Would like a cooperative
relationship with the school district and have agreed upon terms to benefit both parties
and showing good will; and
Whereas the City and the CCA School District have been working together to arrive at
an acceptable agreement that include waiving of tap -on fees and a 50% cost for the
building per in exchange of an 8' trail sidewalk installation by 12/31/15 along
µ Highway 6 from Ireland to the West property line at the high-school.

Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the adjustment of fees associated with Tiffin Elementary and a CCA sidewalk
installation with the CCA School District — SEE ATTACHED LEGAL AGREEMENT.
On the 11th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffinjowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2014-071, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE ADJUSTMENT OF FEES ASSOCIATED WITH TIFFIN
ELEMENTARY AND A CCA SIDEWALK INSTALLATION WITH CCA SCHOOL
DISTRICT and made a.motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.

Whereupon four Council.members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-071, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
ADJUSTMENT OF FEES ASSOCIATED WITH TIFFIN ELEMENTARY AND A CCA ,
SIDEWALK INSTALLATION WITH CCA SCHOOL DISTRICT to be adopted and
signified his approval of the,same by affixing his signature thereto. °
