A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF RIVERDALE'S ANNUAL
URBAN RENEWAL REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating
under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, House File 2460, an act relating to Iowa's Urban Renewal law went into effect on July
1, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, House File 2460 requires any city that had an urban renewal plan and area in effect
at any time during the most recently ended fiscal year to complete an Urban Renewal Report for
each such plan and area and have said plan approved by a majority of Councilmembers; and,
WHEREAS, the City has one active urban renewal area during fiscal year 2021, and;
WHEREAS, no actual monetary expenses will be incurred by this action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE,
IOWA, THAT:
The attached Annual Urban Renewal Report for fiscal year 2021 is approved, and City staff is
hereby directed to submit the report to the State of Iowa.
