A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT, DOCUMENT EXECUTION, AND
PAYMENT FOR THE "GET OUT AND TRAIL" EVENT ON MAY 7, 2022
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Davenport, Iowa, has organized a Get Out And Trail (GOAT) event
scheduled for May 7, 2022, and;
WHEREAS, the City wishes to participate in the GOAT event, and;
WHEREAS, participation requires the completion of a vendor contract and hold harmless
waiver, along with payment of a $25 fee, and;
WHEREAS, total expenditures for this event are estimated to be approximately $100, and;
WHEREAS, the funding source for this event is the Community Celebrations line item, budget
code 001-499-6490.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE,
IOWA, THAT

The Mayor is authorized to execute the vendor contract and hold harmless waiver.
City staff members are authorized to expend up to $100 for this event, including
payment to the City of Davenport in the amount of $25, from Community
Celebrations line item 001-499-6490.
Section 3: City staff are authorized to engage in the planning and execution of the event.
