A RESOLUTION APPROVING USIC LOCATING SERVICES TO PROVIDE
SANITARY AND STORM SEWER LOCATING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF
RIVERDALE UNTIL NOVEMBER 15, 2022
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a Municipal Corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa;
WHEREAS, the City Council must assure that the City has a locating company that
provides necessary labor and equipment to provide certain services relative to locating
and marketing the City's Facilities in the Contract Service Area, and;
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has reviewed the qualifications of the locating service
who performs locating services for sanitary and storm sewer in the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the locating service, USIC Locating Services, LLC has presented a proposal
attached as Exhibit A to provide the necessary labor and equipment to provide certain
services relative to locating and marking the City of Riverdale's facilities in the Contract
Service Area until November 15, 2022.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa
authorizes the Mayor, Clerk and City Administrator to execute the agreement and take
appropriate action to allow USIC to provide Sanitary and Storm Sewer locating services
for the City as of January 1 1 th, 2022.
