A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COUNTER OFFER OF $180,000
FOR LAND AND SHED'ON HIGHWAY 6
Whereas the "City Council'of the City of Tiffin recognizes that an original offer of

$170,000 was made to Vic Zender for his property and shed along Highway 6 (East
Marengo Road) that would be utilized for the LWCF swap purposes; and
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin has received a counter offer from Vic
Zender for said, property for the purchase price of $180,000 with a closing date before
October 1, 2014;

Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the.counter offer of $180,000 to satisfy the both parties for this exchange.
On the 11th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No! 2014-077, A RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING COUNTER OFFER OF $180,000 FOR LAND AND SHED ON HIGHWAY
6 and :made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler. ,
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton.'
Nays: none k
Absent, Petersen
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner `
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-077, A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING
COUNTER OFFER OF $180,000 FOR LAND AND SHED ON HIGHY 6 to be adopted
and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 11th day of June, 2014.
