There will be a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors
of the Midpeninsula Regional Park District at 12 : 00 Noon on
February 7, 1975 in the offices of the District located at 745
Distel Drive, Los Altos, California. The purpose of the meet-
ing will be to consider whether to acquire certain outstanding
interests in the Black Mountain Open Space Preserve, to hold a
Public Hearing thereon and to adopt a resolution authorizing
the appropriate officers to execute the purchase agreement.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY
(BLACK MOUNTAIN OPEN SPACE PRESERVE)
The Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional
Park District does resolve as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula
Regional Park District does hereby approve that certain pur-
chase agreement between Stuart Auchincloss, Alan Ligda, John
Norman and Thomas E. Moore, as Trustees of the Ligda Trust;
and John N. Norman and Barbara R. Norman and the Midpeninsula
Regional Park District dated February 5, 1975 with respect to
the property described on Exhibit A affixed hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof. The President of the Board of
Directors or, in the event of her unavailability the Vice-
President, is authorized to execute a certificate of acceptance
with respect thereto.
Section 2. The General Manager of the District is
authorized to execute any and all other documents in escrow
necessary or appropriate to the closing of the transaction.
Section 3. Section 4 of Resolution No. 74-26 and Sec-
tion 3 of Resolution No. 74-27 are hereby repealed.

Those parcels of land partly in the City of Palo Alto, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
The northwest 1/4 of Section 24, Township 7 South, Range 3

EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof as granted to the
County of Santa Clara for Montebello Road by Deed recorded
December 1, 1893 in Book 166 of Deeds, page 22.
