April 21, 2004 —Minutes
A meeting of the Site Plan Review Committee was called to order at 10:00 a.m. in Meeting Room A, Orleans
Town Hall. Departments Present: Bob Bersin(Highway); Pat Ballo (Health); Bill Quinn(Fire); ❑ Brian
Harrison(Building); Todd Bunzick Chuck Medchill(Water); George Meservey(Planning); Jennifer Wood
(Conservation).
FORMAL REVIEW: Stop & Shop, 10 Route 6A
This application is for an addition to the rear of the Stop & Shop building. Will Joy(Coastal Engineering) and
Steve Chouinard addressed concerns from the Informal Review.
Comments:
Fire: Sprinkler issues are being resolved. Applicant has agreed to remove one of the loading
docks.
Water: Need a staged in plan for potable water.
Health: Received a letter from DEP . Must maintain sewage flow. Use Phased in construction to
protect active food areas. Food areas must be kept clean. Need an"as built" for the
sewer line. Need a letter regarding monitoring wells.
Conservation: Notice of Intent by Conservation Commission needs to be approved.
Planning: Conditional on an"as built"prior to occupancy.
MOTION: On a motion by Bill Quinn, seconded by Pat Ballo, the Committee voted to approve this
application conditional upon receipt of an"as built"plan prior to occupancy.
VOTE: 6-0-0 The vote was unanimous.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: On a motion by Bill Quinn, seconded by Todd Bunzick, the Committee voted to approve the
minutes of April 7, 2004.
VOTE: 5-0-1 The vote passed by a majority. (Pat Ballo abstained)
