Finch Sewing Studio Celebrates Expansion With Grand
Re-Opening Party on March 14, 2014
Leesburg, VA (March 12, 2014) – Finch Sewing Studio
has expanded to take over the entire first floor of 102
Loudoun Street SW in historic downtown Leesburg.
Finch is reopening with a party on Friday, March 14,
2014, from 6pm to 9pm. The studio will reveal
additional classroom space, a dedicated
sitting/socializing area for knitters, and expanded
retail space for the ever-increasing selection of yarn
and modern fabric at the reopening.
“I am so thankful for the wonderful community of knitters and sewists that have made Finch a
successful business,” said owner Nicole Morganthau. “To celebrate, we will be hosting Grand
Re-Opening Party on Friday, March 14th, with live music and something to sip on.”
Doubling the shop’s square footage, Finch now carries an expanded stock of quilting cotton,
apparel fabric, supplies and yarn. Finch is also bringing on three new teachers to expand class
offerings.
“We have a really exciting lineup of knitting and sewing classes for both kids and adults this
Spring,” said teacher Angela Helge. “We are also taking pre-registration for summer camps as
these summer sessions for kids will sell out quickly.”
Finch Sewing Studio offers modern sewing classes for kids and adults. They give each student,
no matter his or her skill level, the tools needed to create fun and modern handmade goods.
Their select stock of fine fabrics includes organic blends and solids, and will provide anyone the
inspiration needed to get started on something truly lovely. For more information, please visit
