RESOLUTION NO. 2014-074
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK CONSULTANTS TO PROCEED
WITH THE DESIGN, PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS, OBTAINING NECESSARY
EASEMENTS AND PERMITS FOR THE 2014 OLD TOWN INFLOW AND
INFILTRATION PORTION OF THE URBANIZATION PROJECT IN AND FOR THE
CITY OF TIFFIN, IA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of reducing the amount of Inflow and
Infiltration into the city's sewer system to keep from overloading the plant.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin wants Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C. to proceed with the said '
Plans, Specifications.and Contract Documents; 4
ps NOW THEREFORE, BE ,IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA, that Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C., is hereby ordered to proceed with:.the
project design for the 2014 Old Town Inflow and Infiltration Project; to prepare Plans,
Specifications, Contract Documents ; prepare necessary easements and prepare necessary
permits for the letting of said project.
On the 11th day of June, at a"regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, R
Councilpersori Upton introduced Resolution No. 2014-074, and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
AYE: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton
NAY: None
ABSENT: Petersen
Passed by the City Council on the 11 th day of June, 2014.
