COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 4, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the September 4, 2018 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order
at 5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Prather, Schreiber,
and Ward
Absent: Mihalevich and W iseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Prayer
- Councilman Fitzwater will lead the prayer.
Consent Agenda
- Councilman Fitzwater will make a motion to take up Consent Item B
separately.
Bills Introduced
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services will present Bill
2018-046.
- Matt Morasch, Public Works Director, will present Bill 2018-047.
- Eric Barron, Planning Manager, will present Bills 2018 -048, 2018-049, and
2018-050.
Bills Pending
- City Neighborhood Services Manager, Jayme Abbott will present Bill 2018 -
045.
Informal Calendar
- Bill sponsor, Councilwoman Ward will take Bill 2018-021 off the Informal
Calendar.

- Bill sponsor, Councilman Prather will take Bill 2018-034 off the Informal
Calendar and make a motion to postpone the vote until after a Public Hearing
at the next City Council meeting on September 17th.
- Councilman Fitzwater, bill sponsor for Bills 2018-038, 2018-039, 2018-040,
2018-041, and 2018-042, intends to keep the bills on the Informal Calendar.
Resolutions
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director will present RS2018-12 and RS2018-
13.
Councilwoman Wiseman arrived at the meeting at 5:57 P.M.
Announcements
- Councilman Graham and Councilwoman Wiseman will not be able to attend
the next City Council meeting on September 17th.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:59 P.M.
