Board of Health Meeting
Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 7:00PM
Town Hall, Room A
Present: Joanne Hughes, = Chairman; Lemuel Skidmore, MS, MPH, Vice Chairman; Keith Johnson; Mary
Chaffee, PhD, RN; Annie Sherwood, RN; Sherrie McCullough, Assistant Health Director and Tammi Mason,
Senior Department Assistant.
1. Discuss proposed Monitoring of I/A Systems regulation
Brian Baumgaertel from the County was present to discuss the proposed regulation. He had submitted a
draft copy of what the regulation is The Board discussed this and agreed that the regulation should be for
"all" septic systems that are put in, not just I/A systems.
Motion: LS-write regulation and set up a public hearing. KJ seconded. 5 yes.
2. Discussion Fuel storage Tank Regulation
There were a few changes made. The Board asked that the regulation be revised and brought back for a
public hearing.
3. Discussion on Outdoor Café Regulation
There were a few changes made. The Board asked that the regulation be revised and brought back for a
public hearing.
4. Minutes from 2/11/13 meeting
A few corrections were made.
Motion: LS-approve minutes with corrections. AS seconded 4 yes. KJ abstained as he was not
present at that meeting.
Chairman signed bills to be paid.
Informational items were read.
MC gave the Board an update on the PAYT program.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45PM
