May 2015 Meeting
Hopkinton Town Hall
7 p.m.
The Hopkinton Board of Library Trustees met on May 21, 2015 at the Hopkinton
Town Hall. The meeting was called to order at approximately 7 p.m. Susan Porter,
Stan Pulnik, Mike McNamara and June Harris in attendance.
A Matton was made to approve the minutes of the April 2015 meeting. The marion
was seconded and the minutes were approved by the Board.
The next order of business was a discussion regarding library relocations. The Board
reviewed what was anticipated in connection with the Hopkinton Public Library move
and the status of the Town's efforts to approve the cost of the relocation.
The Board then discussed the Library Director, Rownak Hussain's, report.
A discussion took place regarding the Permanent Building Committee's report to the
Historic District Commission, the process of the Historic District Commission review
and the next public hearing which it was understood would be on JU11e 18, 2015 at
6:30 at the Town Hall.
The Board discussed ideas for fund raising events. Stan Pulnik offered his music
expertise in terms of guitar building for a likely program at the Library.
The Board then discussed ordering some stationary with a Board logo for purposes of
sending thank you notes and other correspondence. June Harris agreed to consult
with the printer and report back at the next meeting.
A Motion was then made to adjourn. The motion was seconded and the meeting
concluded at approximately 8:15 p.m.
