RESOLUTION NO. 78 -1746
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING A PETTY
CASH FUND OF $350.00
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City, on August 13, 1962 established
a Petty Cash Fund in the amount of $200.00; and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted March 7, 1967 the Petty Cash Fund
was increased to $250.00; and
WHEREAS, for the efficient operation of the City it is necessary
to increase the amount of this fund to the amount of $350.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The established petty cash fund be increased from
the sum of $250.00 to $350.00.
SECTION 2. This fund shall be reimbursed periodically by checks
of the City of Temple City, signed by the Mayor, Treasurer, and City
Clerk made out to Norma Case, the Custodian of said fund.
SECTION 3, This fund shall be expended by City Officials for
necessary and actual expenses incurred by them in the conduct of City
business.
SECTION 4, Accurate and complete records of all such expendi-
tures made from said fund shall be submitted by the City Officials
to and retained by the Fund Custodian.
SECTION 5.. This fund shall be subject to audit periodically,
by the auditor of the City of Temple City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1978.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted
by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 18th day of July, 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
