A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH CIVICPLUS FOR
WEBSITE DESIGN, TRAINING, IMPLEMENTATION, AND
MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the City has expressed an interest in developing a City -owned and operated website,
and;
WHEREAS, the Deputy Clerk has met with and received proposals from CivicPlus and GovOffice,
leaders in governmental website design, training, implementation, and maintenance, and;
WHEREAS, all-inclusive fees for services with CivicPlus total $3,550 pe year with a three-year
contract, and;
WHEREAS, CivicPlus offers integrated text alerts, fillable web forms, and the ability to link to
online bill pay at no additional charge, and;
WHEREAS, the Deputy Clerk recommends entering into a contract with CivicPlus, and;
WHEREAS, the funding source for this resolution is 001-650-6414 City Hall Publishing.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE,
IOWA, THAT the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a three-year contract
with CivicPlus at a cost of $3,550 per year, funded by line item 001-650-6414, for website design,
training, implementation, and maintenance. City staff are authorized to work with CivicPlus to
design, implement, and maintain a City -owned website.
