Section 5. Suit. (New Section 2 -7.2 f).
Any action brought against the City upon any claim or demand shall
conform to the requirements of Sections 940 -949 of the California
Government Code. Any action brought against any employee of the City
shall confirm with the requirements of Section 950 -951 of the California
Government Code"
Section 6. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect on the thirty -first day after adoption.
Section 7. Invalidation
Invalidation of any provision contained in this Ordinance shall in no way
affect any of the other provisions hereof or the application thereof and
shall remain in full force and effect, unless enforcement of this Ordinance,
as so invalidated would be unreasonable or grossly inequitable under all
the circumstances our would frustrate the purpose of the Ordinance.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 21" day of Ma
2002 and adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 4t" day of June, 2002.
