PROCLAMATION
Whereas In the year 2000, Mayor Eldon Hansen hired Ms. Myra Halsey to provide
services essential to the on-going maintenance and operation of City Hall; and
Whereas In the ensuing eighteen years, Ms. Halsey has made sure the City's offices,
Council Chambers and Community Room reflected the values of the community;
and
Whereas Ms. Halsey has tendered her notice of retirement; then
Therefore be it resolved that I, Michael Bawden, Mayor of the City of Riverdale, do thank
Myra Halsey for her longstanding service to the City and the People of Riverdale
and do hereby proclaim today,January 8, 2019 as
Myra Halsey Appreciation Day
in Riverdale, Iowa
