PROCLAMATION
Whereas On Saturday, October 12, 2019, the City of Riverdale was pleased to help host the
Pete the Purple Bull 5k and Fun Run to raise awareness about bullying in
schools; and
Whereas Without the help of key volunteers, members of the Riverdale Volunteer Fire
Department, support from My Place the Pub(a local, Riverdale business) and
Arconic employees, the event never would have been the success that it was; and
Whereas With the renewed enthusiasm resulting from the event,the City of Riverdale
looks forward to coordinating the run with our Fall Fest in future years;then
Therefore be it resolved that I, Michael Bawden, Mayor of the City of Riverdale, recognize:
Riverdale Residents
Kevin Adams, Caroline Bawden and Kelly Krell
Members of the Riverdale Fire Department
Jaimie Jorgensen of My Place the Pub
The HABLO Employee Resource Group from Arconic
Kim Riley (and Pete) of QC United
for their effort and spirit of teamwork to make the October 12, 2019 event a
"raging"success.
