AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
FROM R-3 (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO PRD
(PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF FERNWOOD
AVENUE AND PLATT AVENUE. THE PARCELS ARE
FURTHER DESCRIBED AS LOTS 489, 490, 508 AND 509
OF TRACT 2551 LOS ANGELES COUNTY, LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, resolve and determine
as follows:
Section 1: Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code and the Zoning Map of
the City of Lynwood are hereby amended to reclassify from R-3 (Multiple Family
Residential) to PRD (Planned Residential Development) for certain real property
described as follows:
LOT 489, 490, AND 509 OF TRACT NO. 2551, IN THE CTTY OF
LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS
PER MAPS RECORDED THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER
OF SAID COUNTY.
ALSO KNOWN AS ASSESSOR'S PARCEL N0. 6173-005.
Section 2:This amendment of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map is
consistent with the General Plan of the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said city held on the 21st
day of November, 2000, and finally adopted and ordered published at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 5t" day of December, 2000 by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN BYRD, REA, REYES, SANCHEZ, RICHARDS
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
