A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE IVIAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ACE
COMERCIAL, INC. FOR THE PRINTING OF THE COMMUNITY
NEWSLETTER, LYNWOOD N' PERSPECTIVE (LNP)
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a
qualified printer; and
WHEREAS, to comply with the City's purchasing ordinance, a Request
For Proposals was issued to numerous vendors; and
WHEREAS, City staff evaluated six (6) proposals and recommends Ace
Commercial, Inc. to provide printing services for the City's monthly community
newsletter, Lynwood `N Perspective(LNP); and
WHEREAS, $29,940 per year is needed to cover the cost for the printing
services and the first year costs are included in the FY2008-2009 adopted
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection of Ace
Commercial, Inc. to provide printing service for the City's monthly community
newsletter, Lynwood `N Perspective.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute the attached printing
agreement on behalf of the city.
Section 3:~ This resolution shall become effective immediately upon it's
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7t" day of October, 2008.
