Hanko, President SUBJECT: Preference Poll on Specific Sites Dear Colleagues : The purpose of this poll is to discover Board preference for the amount and kind of improvements and degree and control of access for each of the District-owned sites. It is expected that such information will assist the staff in the development of individual site plans. Anticipated costs of a Board preference plan would be provided in a later report from staff. Please fill out the attached form, and indicate any additional attitudes you may have in blank No. 12 termed "Other Comments. " INSTRUCTIONS: Plark each blank (there may be more than one for a given topic) that describes your opinion. Where applicable, mark with a number that gives the number of years within which you would expect the item to occur. NAME : DATE: A. NORTH FOOTHILLS OPEN SPACE PRESERVE 1. Current use and management plan should be continued (the current plan includes permit exemption, hiking stile or equivalent access, and protective fencing) : (a) with yearly review (current policy) . (b) should be revised before yearly review. (c) should probably be continued indefinitely. (d) unless management costs increase by 25% . (e) unless management costs increase by 50%. (f) unless management costs increase by 750 . (g) unless there is significant ecological damage. 4 . Parking: (a) current parking is expected to remain adequate.
