SUBJECT: Preference Poll on Specific Sites
Dear Colleagues :
The purpose of this poll is to discover Board preference for the
amount and kind of improvements and degree and control of access
for each of the District-owned sites. It is expected that such
information will assist the staff in the development of individual
site plans. Anticipated costs of a Board preference plan would
be provided in a later report from staff. Please fill out the
attached form, and indicate any additional attitudes you may have
in blank No. 12 termed "Other Comments. "
INSTRUCTIONS: Plark each blank (there may be more than one for a
given topic) that describes your opinion. Where
applicable, mark with a number that gives the
number of years within which you would expect
the item to occur.

A. NORTH FOOTHILLS OPEN SPACE PRESERVE
1. Current use and management plan should be continued (the
current plan includes permit exemption, hiking stile or
equivalent access, and protective fencing) :
(a) with yearly review (current policy) .
(b) should be revised before yearly review.
(c) should probably be continued indefinitely.
(d) unless management costs increase by 25% .
(e) unless management costs increase by 50%.
(f) unless management costs increase by 750 .
