ORDINANCE NO. 1451
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING SECTION 25-18.21 OF CHAPTER
25 OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PERMIT THE CREATION OF FLAG OR PANHANDLE
LOTS FOR SINGLE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT IN
THE R-2 (TWO FAMILY) AND R-3 (MULTIPLE
FAMILY) RESIDENTIAL ZONES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 25-18.21 of Chapter 25 of the Lynwood
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
25-18.21 Flaa Lots Development - Desian Standards
a. General. It is the purpose of this section to regulate
the development of flag lots within the City of Lynwood. Flag lots
shall be permitted only in the R-1, R-2 and R-3 residential zones
for single family detached homes only, and only in accordance with
the provisions of this section. In no case shall more than two
flag lots be allowed within any proposed subdivision of land.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance amendment and to cause the
same to published or posted as required by law.
