We would like you to be involved in the planning process as much as you would like. Below is a list of dates of budgeting workshops should you like to attend. December 14, 2021 6:00 PM Workshop for Public Works including Sewer January 11, 2022 6:00 PM Workshop for Capital Expenses and Salaries January 25, 2022 6:00 PM Workshop For Revenue February 8, 2022 6:00 PM Final Review of Budget The City of Riverdale awarded a new snow removal contract to Murf’s Turf. Bookmobile is Back Bookmobile is scheduled to be back in Riverdale on: 1/4/, 1/25, 2/15, 3/8, 3/29, 4/19, 5/10 and 5/31. Stops include: Madison Drive 3:30-4:00 City Hall 4:10-4:45 402 Manor Drive 4:50-5:10 Bi-Centennial 5:15-6:15 Manor Drive Storm Sewer Project Manor Drive Storm Sewer Project is set to begin with the next two weeks. The City will be installing two manholes and sewer lining to stop the erosion occurring. Please watch out for construction traffic and workers. As of January 1, 2021, Anthony Heddlesten will be the new Mayor of Riverdale! Council Members include: Newly elected, Vince Jurgena, Paul DCamp, Kelly Krell, Kevin Adams, and Doug Littrel 2 American Rescue Plan The American Rescue Plan Act was approved by Congress in early 2021 and includes funding for local governments. As the plan was developed, cities were required to request its portion of funding through the state government. Following that process, cities received their first installment of funding that represented half of the total amount. The second half will be distributed in the early part of FY 2023. The City of Riverdale already received $32,412.65. The City is scheduled to received the same amount later in 2022.
