AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 1390 RELATING TO A COMMUNITY CABLE
ACCESS ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Community Cable Access Advisory Commission was previously
established by the City Council by the adoption of Ordinance No. ] 390; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to repeal Ordinance No. 1390 in its entirety
in order that the duties currently delegated to the Community Cable Access Advisory
Commission may be delegated to the Community Affairs Commission by the City
Council.
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
ection 1: Ordinance No. 1390 is repealed and Section 2-22-A of the Lynwood
Municipal Code is hereby deleted in its entirety. Upon the effective date of this
ordinance, the Community Cable Access Advisory Commission shall cease to exist.
Section 2: None of the current members of the Community Cable Access
Advisory Commission shall have any right to receive any further compensation
subsequent to the date this ordinance becomes effective.
Section 3: If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is held invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would
have passed each section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection,
subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase be declared invalid.
ection 4: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its final passage
and within fifteen (15) days after its passage, the City Clerk shall cause iC to be published
in a local newspaper of general circulation in the City of Lynwood and hereby designated
for that purpose.
