AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD MODIFYING THE DUTIES
OF THE COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COMMISSION
THE C]TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Chapter 2 of the Lynwood Municipal Code is hereby amended, by
adding the Following additional language, which section shall read as follows:
2-13.9 Duties of Commission.
£ Advise the City Council on all matters relating to conununity access to
public, educational or governmental use of chamtel capacity provided by the City's
franchised cable television system operator, including staffing requirements for Che cable
television studio and methods to promote and facilitate community access.
g. Promote, coordinate, facilitate, produce and assist community public
service video progranuning.
h. Promote educational uses of cable television video programming.
i. Establish and administer rules, re~rlations and procedures relating to the
scheduling and use of public, educational and governmental channel capacity`on the
cable television system.
j. Tnform the community of the services and benefits which are related to The
public, educational and governnental use of channel capacity on the cable television
system.
