"It is a tribute to our Town and community that so many participated in this celebration,” said Tom Seeman, chairman of the Leesburg Tree Commission. “The planting of this one tree is symbolic of the much larger efforts taken by the Town to enhance, preserve, and expand the tree canopy in Leesburg. As evidence of this commitment, this is the 25th year in a row that Leesburg has been certified as a Tree City USA by the national Arbor Day Foundation."
