Minutes:
A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the June 9th and July 14th
meetings. They were voted upon and passed unanimously.
Staff Reports:
Dan Pillard reported the following list was provided to the men's association for possible
funding:
Fairway Mower $3,500
Cutting Units $5000
Seed $2,750
Sod Projects $4,200
Allan Morrison reported the golf course was busy. During the McCall Amateur the juniors
were moved from the weekend to Monday so the course can open for public play for the
weekend.
45 teams were signed up for the Two Lady Best Ball, August 28, 29th will be the club
championship, tee times Sat, shotgun Sun. September 5in will be the McCall Golf
Course Benefit Tournament, Charles Waters has raised $18,000 in donated items with
one item to be the repair of the restrooms on #5 Aspen.
Allan reported the greens fees and season pass fees were meeting budget with the
season pass sales were slow.
New Business:
Dan Pillard reported the Irrigation ponds have weeds that continue to plug the screens
on the inlet that supplies the pump house for the irrigation system. The county weed
superintendent advised we have the following weeds:
Native Milfoil
Sagio Pondweed
Elladia
Coonstail
Algae
Old Business:
Dan Pillard reported the irrigation improvements were completed on Cedar #2, #2, # 6
tee, #7 Fairway. # 5 fairway was left, the project was ahead of schedule.
