AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO ,aME;7D
CHAPTER 25 OF THE MUNICIPAL-CODE WITH RESPECT TO THE
RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF RESIDENTIAL LEGAL NON-CONFORMING USES.
The City Ccuncil of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
follows:
Section i. Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code is hereby
amended co permit the re-establishment of residential legal non-
confozminq uses.
Section 25-15 To read as follows:

oz adoption of the August 1990 General Plan AmQndment.
Any residential structure which became legal nonconforming as a
result of the adoption of the Auquae 1990 Lynwood General Plan
Update may rebuild to its previous usm, subject to a Conditional
Use Permit, and compliance with City development standards, or:
If the structure or structures in which a nonconforming use is
located are destroyed by fire, explosion, other casualty or ocher
disaster, the nonconforming use may be re-established so long as
the structure in which it is housed is reconstructed to the
standards fez such a use as act forth in this title, and so long as.
the reconstruction occurs within onm year of the date of chcr
disaster. Destruction for this purpose is defined as damage to an
extent of more than fifty f501 percent of the replacement cost ac
the time of destruction.
Section 2. Sevwr~ abr i_ lity. If any section, subsection

or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any

Lynwood.

City held on the 7th day of April 1993 and linally ordered
