A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CONTRACT WITH CIVICPLUS
FOR WEBSITE DESIGN, TRAINING, IMPLEMENTATION, AND
MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City has an existing contract with CivicsPlus to design and implement a new website for
the City; and,
WHEREAS, transferring and hosting the City's website domain (www.riverdaleia.org) is not part of that
contract; and,
WHEREAS, the City will incur a fee to host the domain regardless of the hosting entity (i.e. Go Daddy,
CivicPlus, Amazon, Google Cloud, etc.); and,
WHEREAS, the fee to have CivicPlus transfer and host the domain for the first year is $335.69, renewable
annually thereafter at a rate of $185.00/year; and,
WHEREAS, the City sees value in having both the domain and website managed by one entity -
CivicPlus; and,
WHEREAS, the Deputy Clerk recommends amending the existing contract with CivicPlus, to include
transferring and hosting the domain; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this resolution is 001-650-6414 City Hall Publishing.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT the Mayor Pro Tem is hereby authorized and directed to amend the existing contract with
CivicsPlus to include transferring and hosting the domain www.riverdaleia.org for one year at a cost of
$335.69, renewable annually thereafter at a rate of $185.00/year.

1. This Statement of Work ("SOW") shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the Riverdale IA - CivicEngage
Statement of Work signed by and between the Parties ("the Agreement"). By signing this SOW, Client expressly agrees to
the terms and conditions of the Agreement, as though set forth herein.
2. Client will be invoiced for the Total Investment - Year 1 (the sum of one-time costs and a prorated portion of the
Annual Recurring Services) upon signing and submission of this SOW. The Annual Recurring Services subscription fee
for the Products (as described above) included in this SOW are prorated and co -termed to align with the Client's current
billing schedule and the Annual Recurring Services amount will subsequently be added to Client's Term and regularly
scheduled annual invoices under the terms of the Agreement.
3. Each year this SOW is in effect, a technology investment and benefit fee, as agreed to in the Agreement, will be
applied to the Annual Recurring Services subscription fee.
