AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ` `
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING ORDINANCE W0. 1210 PROVIDING
FOR AN AUTO ALLOWANCE FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS
The City Council of the City of Lynwood HEREBY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. In addition to the salary established by'
Section 1 of Ordinate tJo. 1026,. members of the City Counci_1 shall 6e reimbursed
for expenses incurred by them in the use of their personal vehicles in the
performance of their duties in the sum of Five Hundred (_$500) dollars per month,
effective January 1, 1988.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held to be invalid
or unconstitutional in the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such
decision shall not affect the validity of The remaining portions of this ordi-
nance or its application to other persons or places. The City Council hereby
declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section, subsection,
sub-division, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion thereof, irrespective of the
fact that any one or more sections, sub-divisions, sentences, clauses, phrases,
or portions, or the application thereof to any person or place, be declared
invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to certify as to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be
published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 3Y'cl day of May 1988, and finally ordered published
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 11th day of Play ,
1988.
