Board of Assessors Meeting
August 26, 2014
Executive Session
Howard Hayes called the Executive Session of the Board of Assessors to order at 5:43 p.m.
in the Assessors Office.
Present: Assessors Hayes and Salomone, and Deputy Assessor David Tately
The Executive Session was called discuss the possible settlement of the two FY 13 ATB
cases on Gulls Way.
For 580 Gulls Way, the proposal was made to offer 20% off the land value, bringing it to
$104,300. Ms. Salomone moved and Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, and the vote was 2-0
to offer this as a settlement.
For 578 Gulls Way, Ms. Salomone moved to offer a 10% land reduction, down to $124,300.
The difference of 10% from 580 Gulls Way is due to the fact that 580 is the center of three
cottages, and it is subject to an easement for access to one of the other cottages.
Mr. Hayes moved to adjourn Executive Session. Ms. Eyestone seconded. Roll call vote was
unanimous to adjourn. Hayes-yes, Salomone-yes.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 6:33.
Respectfully Submitted,
