COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, NOVEMBER 19, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the November 19, 2018 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order
at 5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the mee ting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Prather, Schreiber,
and Ward
Absent: Mihalevich and Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Prather will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous Agenda Items
- There were no questions at this time.
Public Hearings
- Eric Barron, Planning Manager will present Bill 2018-065 and RS2018-22.
Appointments by the Mayor
- Gail Strope, Director of Human Resources will present four recommended
appointments to various boards and commissions.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- Britt Smith, Public Works Operations Division Director will present Bills 2018-
072, 2018-074, and 2018-077.
- Ryan Moehlman, City Counselor will present Bill 2018-073.
- Margie Mueller, Director of Finance and IT will present Bill 2018-075.
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services will present Bill
2018-076.

Bills Pending
- Police Chief Roger Schroeder will present Bill 2018-066. Capt. Deric Heislen
and Lt. Chad Stieferman will be available for questions.
- Mr. Smith will present Bill 2018-067.
- Chief Schroeder will present Bill 2018-068. A substitute bill will be offered.
- Ms. Strope will present Bill 2018-069.
- Ms. Mueller will present Bill 2018-070.
New Business
- Mr. Sanders will review a memo from the Missouri Department of Economic
Development requesting a plan from the City in regards to 408 Lafayette
Street. Mr. Sanders will outline three options.
