Station, 300 W Elm St. Mayor Bunt present, Council members present: Ebert, Schmillen, Jenness,
Frangione. Absent, Enneking. Also, present: members of the Cherokee County Board of
Supervisors, and members of the Aurelia Council and Mayor, Aurelia/Marcus Police Chief Brian
Flikeid.
Justin Pritts lead the discussion on the need for death investigators in Cherokee County. He
presented a proposal to the City of Marcus, City of Aurelia, and the Cherokee County Board of
Supervisors. Police Chief Flikeid will be working with City Attorney Alyssa Herbold to create a 28E
agreement to be reviewed at the next regular council meeting, February 13th, 2023.
