AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Five Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
sewer construction in Spring Ave Sanitary Relief (Yeatman Ave to Dale Ave) (12208) in the City
of Webster Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22020 with
Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Million Eighty-One
Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($1,081,130.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy
Dollars ($418,870.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in Spring Ave Sanitary Relief (Yeatman Ave to Dale Ave) (12208) in the City of
Webster Groves, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22020
with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in
Spring Ave Sanitary Relief (Yeatman Ave to Dale Ave) (12208) in the City of Webster Groves,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 18th day of February, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 8, 2021.
