AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Six Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($2,650,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for
maintenance yard vehicle storage building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building
(Mintert) (10282) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 22007 with Gershenson Construction Co. for maintenance yard vehicle storage building.
WHEREAS, the bid for said maintenance yard vehicle storage building is Two
Million Five Hundred Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,518,500.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thirty-One
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($131,500.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($2,650,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for maintenance
yard vehicle storage building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building (Mintert) (10282) in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as
have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22007
with Gershenson Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for maintenance yard vehicle
storage building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building (Mintert) (10282) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 10th day of February, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 8, 2021.
