AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Dollars
($1,000,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for repair and replacement of
inlets, manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure in Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs (2021)
(13004) in Various Locations Throughout the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate
additional funds for small infrastructure repair projects to be bid through Purchasing.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15438, adopted August 13, 2020, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs (2021) (13004); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for repair and replacement of
inlets, manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure in Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs (2021)
(13004) in Various Locations Throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
for small infrastructure repair projects to be bid through Purchasing for repair and replacement of
inlets, manholes, sewers, and other infrastructure in Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs (2021)
(13004) in Various Locations Throughout the District; and said contract shall be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 8, 2021.
