AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Nine Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($1,950,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary
sewer construction in E. Watson Sanitary Relief (Rusdon Ln to Richview Dr) (12152) in the Cities
of Crestwood and Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22015
with Above and Below Contracting, LLC for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is One Million Five
Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars ($1,548,767.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred One
Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Three Dollars ($401,233.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($1,950,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in E. Watson Sanitary Relief (Rusdon Ln to Richview Dr) (12152) in the Cities of
Crestwood and Sunset Hills, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions
as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22015
with Above and Below Contracting, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for E. Watson Sanitary
Relief (Rusdon Ln to Richview Dr) (12152) in the Cities of Crestwood and Sunset Hills, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of February, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 8, 2021.
