HomeMy Public PortalAbout15633 Market St 2350 Green Infrastructure – Entrance and Landscaping Improvements (13296)ORDINANCE NO. 15633 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,850,000.00) from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund and authorizes the use of Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Nine and 67/100 Dollars ($298,249.67) from previously encumbered funds to be used for green infrastructure construction in Market St 2350 Green Infrastructure – Entrance and Landscaping Improvements (13296) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21948 with Kozeny Wagner, Inc. for green infrastructure construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said green infrastructure construction is One Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($1,987,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Sixty-One Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Nine and 67/100 Dollars ($161,249.67); WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14879, adopted April 12, 2018, authorized the appropriation for green infrastructure construction in the CSO Volume Reduction Green Infrastructure (11146); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($1,850,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund for green infrastructure construction in Market St 2350 Green Infrastructure – Entrance and Landscaping Improvements (13296) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to utilize funds from CSO Volume Reduction Green Infrastructure (11146) for a fee not to exceed Two Hundred Ninety- Eight Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Nine and 67/100 Dollars ($298,249.67) from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21948 with Kozeny Wagner, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for green infrastructure construction in Market St 2350 Green Infrastructure – Entrance and Landscaping Improvements (13296) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 4th day of February, 2021. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 8, 2021.
