HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 79-1819RESOLUTION NO. 79 -1819 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING CERTAIN PREMISES TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, AND ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: IWHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City has, by Resolution No. 79- 851PC, determined that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal Code, exists on certain premises and recommends abatement thereof; and 1 WHEREAS, no appeal has been taken from said determination, and the time for taking such appeal has expired; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City hereby declares that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, and as determined by the findings attached to the Planning Commission Resolution No. 79- 851PC, exists on the premises designated as 9559 Woodruff Avenue,...in the City of Temple City, California, and more particularly described as Parcel 11- of Lot 257 of Tract No. 6561, Map Book 72, pp. 34 -35 of Mapsin: the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, California; and That if said abatement is not accomplished by the expiration of thirty (30) days, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause said public nuisance to be abated by City forces or private contract pursuant to the Municipal Code; and That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be served on the owners of said premises pursuant to the Municipal Code.
