The MSD Clean Water Education program provides educators throughout the MSD service area with resources to help bring this topic to life in their classroom through hands-on demonstrations, action projects, and more. MSD Clean Water Education A Free Stormwater Education Program for St. Louis City and County schools within MSD Service Area Learn: Reserve a Watershed EnviroScape® Model for Your Classroom The EnviroScape® is a visual, hands-on tool that shows how water pollution can result from everyday activities. • Reservation and use of the model is FREE! • EarthWays will drop-off and pick-up model • Staff will provide FREE training and teaching aids on how to use the model with your class • Explore the connections between human impact and Earth. • Discuss ways to reduce the impact of water pollution on rivers, creeks, and streams Take Action: Engage Students with the Storm Drain Marking Take it one step further and engage your students in an action project that benefits your community! We provide all the tools and equipment your group needs to help put knowledge into action. MSD’s Storm Drain Marker Program provides a visible reminder of the impacts of improper waste disposal and helps communicate to the community that storm drains can carry pollution to rivers and streams. This is a great hands-on project for schools, scouts, and community groups that want to make a difference now! Participation is FREE and program provides all necessary supplies for a successful project.
