ORDINANCE NO. 1257
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE LYNWOOD MONICIPAL
CODE, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CEIZPAIN PROPEKPIES FROM C2-A
(MEDIUM COfM4ERCLAI.) TO R-3 (MULTI FAMILY RESIDENTIAL)
3311 ALr1P AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
as follows:
Section L Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code is
hereby amended to reclassify from C2-A (Medium C~rtnercial) to R-3 (Multi-
family Residential) certain real property described as follows:
Lot 15, Tract 2794, as per map recorded in Book 28,
Page 6 of maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County; except therefrom the southwest 103 feet
thereof.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, sub-
division, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or competent juris-
diction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions,
of this ordinance or its application to other person or places. The City Council
hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each section thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection, sentence, or
place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to certify
to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to be published once in
the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulate printed, published, and
circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 2nd day of July 1985 and finally ordered
published at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 16th
day of July 1985.
