SECTION 109-5 ("FEES") OF CHAPTER 109
("UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODES")
OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of
Carteret that Chapter 109, Section 109-5, entitled "Fees" is hereby amended and
supplemented as follows:
Section 1 Section 109-5B, entitled "Waivers" is hereby amended and
supplemented to include a new B.(3) to read as follows:
109-5B(3)- All Plan Review fees under Sub-Section A of
this section shall be waived where the Carteret Board of
Education:
(a) is the party that will be conducting the construction
pursuant to said plan;
(b) has contracted or will contract for the construction
detailed in said plan; or
(c) bears the direct financial responsibility for the Plan
Review fees.
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to
the extent of any such inconsistency.
Section 3 If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision
of this ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication
shall apply only to the section, paragraph, sub-division,
clause or provision so adjudged and the remainder of this
ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective.
Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publication accord!ng to applicable law.
