THE ZONING CLPSSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FRQ~1
R-1 TO R-3

The City Council of the City of Lynwood HEREBY LYRES
ORDAIN as folla~r:
SECTION J.. Chapter 25, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Lynwood, and the official Land Use Eleirent for said City
established therby are amended to re-classify from R-1 (Single
Family Residential) to R-3 (Multi-Family Resic~ntial) that certain
real property described as follaas:
That portion of Lot 2 of tl~ J. J. Bullis Tract, of the San
Antonio Rancho, in the City of County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as per ~p recorded in Book 3,
Pages 612 and 13 of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of said Lot,
distant South 71° East 1600.36 feet from the most Northerly
corner of said L~at; thenceoparallel with the Southeasterly
line of said Lot, South 19 15' West 379.28 felt; thence
parallel with said Northeasterly line North 71 West 191.80
feet to a line that is parallel with said Southeasterly line
and passes through a point in said Northeasterly line distant
North 71° West 468.798 feet from the NortY~easterly corner of
said Loth thence along said last r~ntioned parallel line
North 19 15' East 379.28 feet to said Northeasterly line;
thence South 71° East 191.80 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT therefrom that portion of said Lot 2, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of said Lot,
distant South 71 East 1600.36-feet from the most Northerly
turner of said Lot; thenceoparallel with the Southeasterly
line of said Lot, South 19 15' West 180 feet; them parallel
with said Northeasterly line north 71° West 47.95 feet to a
line that is parallel with said Southeasterly line and passes
through a point in said Northeasterly line, distant North 71°
West 324.948 feet from the NortYeasterly corner of said Lot;
thence along said last mantioned parallel line North 19° 15'
East 180 feet to said Northeasterly line; thence South 71°
East 47.95 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, subdivi-
sion, sentence, c1 ause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or place, is for any reason held
to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court or
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to
other persons or places. The City Council hereby declares that it
would have adopted this ordinance, and each section thereof, irre-
spective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection,
sentence, clause, phrase or portion, or the application thereof to
any person or place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the sarnv to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general cir-
culation, printed,.published, and circulated in the City of Lynwood.
First read at a regular rreeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 21st day of Auaust 1984, and
finally ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the 4th day of September 1984.
